Hosting about 8 millions of residents, some of whom are staying in a cardboard-made tent under the bridge, Jakarta holds its status as a life-changer city mainly to those who are living in the under-developed outer islands. Life has many layers in this city, just like those roads that have many intertwined “jalan tikus”. For everyone, any moment off-the-traffic is a moment everyone treasures most. This is a city I never miss yet has changed my path big time.
