It was just another photo assignment, but this time is to capture one of the most evoking passion of any Singaporeans, nothing else other than: makan. By the time I saw the article, my mind automatically scanned through those toothsome delicacies like chili crabs, durian paste, ayam penyet, and many more. Yes, local food in Singapore has its roots mainly from its three major cultures: the Chinese, Malay, and Indian. And then for one full day, I was out on the street, reaching for the famous makan places and exploring any delicious secret from the city’s hidden back lane.

I end the day by sipping “teh tarik” while hoping that the magazine’s readers in Europe may enjoy what comes out from the pictures. Visita Singapur, Senor !
