Apparently the presence of Merlion as icon of Singapore has been challenged by the three magnificent tower  facing the CBD, called Marina Bay Sands. The hotel cum casino provides multitude attractions like science museum, shopping mall, grand theater, musical fountain show, nice promenade, and many more. The infinity pool with beautiful bird-eye-view of Marina Bay is the best definitely of all. Unfortunately, the  average quality of room furniture, poor selections of TV channels, and the so so hospitality of its staffs prove that the stay is not worth its sky high price. With the same money, I could take a flight overseas and stay in a beach resorts with a real sea-view.

Though I’ve never been to Paris, I trust my gut feeling that the above tagline stands true for many visitors. The magnificient view of  its castle with tall-standing St. Vitus Cathedral, the romantic scene of its Charles bridge, and the uniqueness of medieval Astronomical Clock with its Twelve Apostles figurines are really fascinating.

Stands near the clock during passing hour to listen for its bell which is coming from a trumpet sound played by a colorfullly-dressed soldier from above the tower. Sounds like a medieval age; this is only available in Praha.

Once again, I am back to this paradise island to attend a wedding of my cousin in Tabanan. Bali still offers his charms with beautiful dancers, beaches, and many upgrowing bars which were mushroomed along Kuta beach up from Seminyak down to Uluwatu.
